Ashley DeSimone is an independent commercial theatre producer based in New York City.  As a creative producer, Ashley leads new work to the commercial stage, working with authors, directors and creative teams to ultimately bring live entertainment to audiences across markets, including but not limited to Broadway.  Ashley’s Wall Street and Investor Relations experience inform everything she does as a producer, including communicating with potential and current investors.

Her projects have been produced on Broadway and in the West End, as well as in major markets on national and international tours, as well as in regional markets like La Jolla, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles.  As a creative producer leading new projects to the stage, she has developed new work with Second Stage Theatre, The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, and the Village Theatre, as well as in a variety of commercial theatre settings.

Current select projects include DJEMBE! THE SHOW, a new and original multi-sensory theatrical experience celebrating music and the drum.  Audiences raved about the show during its European tour, and now can see DJEMBE!’s U.S. premier in 2019 at Chicago’s Apollo Theatre.  Ashley is also producing new, original musical AFTERWORDS, which received a workshop production earlier this year at Village Theatre and is currently in development with a major NYC regional.  She is also in development with Theatreworks USA on PURE CHAOS, a TYA musical about math.

Ashley DeSimone’s select Broadway productions include the Pulitzer Prize-winning DISGRACED, HAND TO GOD, SOMETHING ROTTEN (also National Tour), and THE NEW ONE.  In 2017 & 2018, Ashley consulted to Madwood Productions on NETFLIX’s new musical docuseries, WESTSIDE (Associate Producer).  Ashley is currently on the producing teams of WORKING GIRL the musical, as well as THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, both of which are in active development with 20th Century Fox.

She previously ran live-ent investment efforts for a film finance firm that owns TSG Entertainment, where she reviewed hundreds of live-ent investment opportunities and executed numerous transactions and investments.  In 2017, Ashley executed a $2.0 million Series Seed B financing for the leading theater enthusiast community, SHOW-SCORE.COM, where she is an advisor and investor.
